Israeli Violations in the West Bank Thursday 7/2/2013



Jerusalem

· Dozens of soldiers invaded Hizma town, broke into several homes, and kidnapped 4, taking him to unknown destination. Those arrested were identified as Hamza Kana’an, 16 years, Ibrahim Zayed Kana’an, 17 years, Omar Awadh Mohd Al-Khateeb, 17 years and Abdollah Askar Khatib, 17 years.
· The Israeli soldiers erected military barrier in Beit Hanina town, searched citizen's vehicles and checked the ID cards of the citizens; no arrests reported.
· Israeli settlers attacked two Palestinian drivers in Tel Biot area, south of Jerusalem. The two settlers, stopped the Palestinian taxi drivers near the Western wall in the Jewish quarter, attacked them with tear gas spray and ran away.
· Israeli settlers and police raided the Aqsa Mosque compound.
· Israeli soldiers demolished the protest tent in Isaweyeh town.

Ramallah

• Israeli soldiers at Sinjil Junction arrested Saeed Saleh A’washreh, 28 years, Ahmad Khamees Ghafri, 18 years , and I’mad Hasan Fuqaha’, 26 years.
• Clashes took place between the Israeli soldiers and residents in Budrus village near Ramallah, and soldiers fired tear gas and at the youths, wounding many with tear gas inhalation.

JENIN
• Israeli military forces invaded areas in Jenin and conducted searches, arresting Sameh Jamal Awadh Abu Husein Al-Qat, 19 years, taking him to unknown destination.
• Soldiers raided a school in Ya’bad and clashes took place between the Israeli soldiers and students, and soldiers fired tear gas and metal bullets at them; many suffered from tear gas inhalation.
• Israeli forces at Hamra Barrier arrested Mohd Suleiman Bani Odeh, 19 years, and took him to unknown destination for questioning. Soldiers at the said barrier also handed intelligence warrant to unidentified resident to meet the Israeli intelligence for questioning.

Nablus

• Dozens of soldiers moved into Der Ballout village. They patrolled in the streets for some time and withdrew later, after taking photos of buildings in the village.
• Israeli settlers broke into Joseph’s Tomb, east of the city of Nablus. Many buses carrying settlers broke into the Tomb and performed rituals and prayers under the protection of the Israeli army.

Bethlehem

• Israeli forces demolished a home in al- khas village east of Bethlehem, under the pretext it was built without a permit.The house belonged to Ahmad Sabateen, and are 150 square meters.
• Dozens of soldiers invaded Azza camp town, broke into several homes, and searched them , without arresting any one .

Hebron

· Israeli forces moved into areas in the old town in Hebron city. They patrolled in the streets for some time and withdrew later, after arresting Hiam Al-Rajabi, 20 years, and took her to unknown destination for questioning.
· Israeli soldiers invaded areas in Edna town and conducted searches, arresting the child Mahdi Mohammad Al-Batran, 10 years.
· Soldiers arrested the shepherd Annus Hureizat near Yatta, and took him to unknown destination for questioning.
· Israeli soldiers demolished the municipality building in Bait Awla town, near Hebron, causing severe damage to the place,
· Soldiers stationing in the old town arrested the child Iyyad Al-Atrash.
