Israeli Violations in the West Bank

Jerusalem:

Occupation authorities imposed strict procedures on citizens who were entering Al-Aqsa mosque for Friday prayers, and spread hundreds of their police and border guards in most parts of the city, especially in the old town and its surroundings and the area around the holy mosque, and set up barricades and checkpoints at the main gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Israeli police arrested Abdel Moneim al-Shobaki while he was cleaning up his land in Rabana neighborhood in Silwan.

Israeli soldiers at a checkpoint Jaba searched passing cars, and checked the identities of citizens.



Ramallah





Both the youths Ahmed Abdul Fattah Bernat (20 years) and Mohammed Ahmed Hamad (22 years) were injured by a tear gas canister by hand and dozens of cases of suffocation, due to the suppression of the occupation forces to the weekly march of Bil'in anti-settlement and the apartheid wall, and in solidarity with the prisoner Samer al-Issawi.

Two foreign solidarity and a citizen were injured by metal bullets, and dozens of cases were suffocated, due to the suppression of the occupation forces to the weekly march of Nabi Saleh village anti-occupation and the settlements. Israeli soldiers fired metal bullets, stun grenades and gas towards the participants, which led to the injury of the female international solidarity Lucy by three metal bullets in different parts of her body, and so she was transferred to the Martyr Yasser Arafat Hospital in Salfit for treatment, in addition to the injury of another foreign solidarity and a young man by metal bullets and dozens of cases of suffocation due to inhalation of tear gas.

A number of settlers attacked the citizen Ahmed Al-Zeer (58 years), from Silwad. Clashes broke out after this attack at the entrance to the town of Silwad, between the citizens and the occupation soldiers, and the soldiers attacked the town to protect the settlers after assaulting on the citizen Az-Zeer, resulting in the injury to the child Hamza Sabir Hamed (13 years) who was wounded by two metal bullets, four other citizens were also injured by metal bullets in these attacks.

Israeli forces arrested two young men at the entrance to the village of A'boud, and erected a checkpoint at the entrance to the village and arrested the two young men, Mahmoud Riad al-Barghouthi, 23, and Faiq Barghouti 25 years.

Occupation forces stormed the area between the villages of Deir Jarir and Silwad, and made patrol.

Jenin

Occupation forces stormed the house of Sheikh Jihad Nawahda (48 years) and questioned him inside his home in the town of Yamoun, west of Jenin and searched his home.

Occupation forces stormed the town of A'rraba and Fahma village, and made patrol.



Nablus

Settlers completely broke down 50 olive trees in the eastern region of the town of U'rif. These trees are owned by the citizens E'ssam Al Safadi, Raed Sabah. The settlers also attacked the citizens in U'rif under the protection of the Israeli army, which fired rubber bullets and tear gas heavily.

Israeli occupation forces arrested two young men from the city of Nablus, Muammar Mohammed Juma' Jamus "31 years" from Khallet Al-A'mud area, and the young man Sami Al-bazan, and took them to Huwwara military camp south of the city.

Israeli occupation forces arrested Mufid Mohammed Rashid Shihab from Sebastia.

Occupation forces closed Hawara checkpoint.

Occupation forces erected a checkpoint on Nablus – Qalqilya road, and the Israeli soldiers searched the cars and checked the identities of pedestrians.

Israeli occupation forces closed Yitzhar road because of the presence of settlers in the place.

Occupation forces stormed the village of Marda, and questioned a number of citizens.

Israeli occupation forces closed the gates of Haris and Kifil Haris.

Occupation forces stormed the city of Tubas and made patrol.



Qalqilya:

Dozens of citizens were suffocated due to gas attack by Israeli occupation forces against the participants in Kufr Qaddum weekly march anti-settlement and demanding to open the main street of the village which has been closed since years.





Bethlehem

Settlers assaulted the youth Ashraf Amin Al-Masri (27 years) from the village of Batir, west of Bethlehem and beat him severely, causing various bruises and cuts. He was attacked by an iron bar on the head and various parts of his body.

A number of citizens were injured by suffocation during the occupation forces suppression to the citizens in al-Khader village south of Bethlehem, and three injured people by metal bullets were transferred to Beit Jala Hospital for treatment and their situations were described as slight, the rest of the injured were treated on the ground.

Occupation forces suppressed the peaceful march of Al-Ma'sara village which condemns the racial Annexation Wall and settlement expansion. They assaulted the demonstrators by severs beating and prevented them from reaching the place of the wall, A number of them were injured.



Israeli occupation forces arrested Marwan Mohammed Abdul Qader Issa (21 years), from Al-Khader village, and handed his brother Ashraf, a notification to review their intelligence.

Israeli occupation forces arrested both Omar Ahmed Aziyya (25 years), and Mahmoud Mukhlis Al-Jawabra (21 years), from inside the houses of their parents after searching the houses, in A'ida refugee camp.



Hebron

Ten people were wounded by rubber bullets, and a number of others by tear gas, during the occupation forces suppression to a number of citizens in the town of Beit Ummar. Soldiers assaulted the citizens in the area 'Za'ata' wounding seven people by rubber bullets, they were treated on the ground. The girl Aziza Muhammad Sadiq Abu Maria (11 years) was injured by a rubber bullet in the abdomen while standing on the roof of her house in Beit Zaata area east of the town, and she was transferred to the town's health center for the necessary treatment.

Three people were wounded by rubber bullets, and a number of others by tear gas, during the occupation forces suppression to a number of citizens in Al-A'rroub refugee camp, they were treated on the ground by the Red Crescent volunteers.

A number of citizens were suffocated by tear gas, due to the occupation forces suppression to a peaceful march demanded the opening of As-Shuhada Street which has been closed by an Israeli military decision since the Ibrahimi Mosque massacre in 1994.
