Israeli Violations in the West Bank

Jerusalem
Occupation authorities delivered to the Palestinian National Theatre (Al-Hakawati) in Jerusalem a decision to close the doors of the theater for a week, to prevent the nineteenth Festival of (the Week of the Palestinian child) in Jerusalem for Puppet and Brides Theater, which was scheduled to start its activities on Saturday.
The so-called “the District Committee for Planning and Building in Jerusalem”, dependent to the Israeli Interior Ministry, put a new structural plan to build underground elevators and paths link between the Jewish Quarter in the Old city Al-Buraq Square. This plan aims to connect the Jewish Quarter directly Al-Buraq Square and to build a center for the square visitors and a commercial area close to it.
Ramallah:
Occupation forces suppressed Bil'in weekly peaceful march anti-settlement and the apartheid wall. The Israeli soldiers shot rubber-coated metal and tear gas stunt grenades towards the participants, which led to the injury of dozens of citizens and peace activists and foreign solidarity with severe suffocation and burning of large areas planted with olive trees.
Occupation forces suppressed the weekly peaceful march in Nabi Saleh village. They targeted the march by firing tear gas canisters, lead rubber-coated metal, and they targeted the citizens’ homes and the public properties using chemical wastewater, which led to the injury of dozens with suffocation, and causing damage to the citizens’ properties. They also targeted the present journalists, prevented them from coverage, and assaulted the journalist Bilal Tamimi by beating, resulting in minor injuries.
Jenin
Israeli forces arrested Firas Mohammed Abu Zeina (22 years) after raiding his home in Wadi Izz al-Din neighborhood in the city of Jenin.
Israeli occupation forces stormed Bir albasha village and made patrol.
Qalqilia:
Occupation forces suppressed Kafr Qaddum weekly peaceful march that is anti-settlement and demsnds to open the main entrance to the village. The Israeli occupation forces fired bullets causing the injury of the citizens: A’qil Mahmoud Shtiwi (25 years) who was injured by a metal bullet in his hand led to amputation of one of his fingers, Yousef Mustafa Shtiwi (21 years) in the chest, Wisam Ayoub Shtiwi (26 years) in the back and Bashar Mahmoud Shtiwi (22 years) in the abdomen. The Israeli forces arrested the Palestine T.V. crew while covering the anti-settlement weekly march of Kafr Qaddum, and they assaulted the journalist Ahmed Shawar by beating, confiscated their cameras, and threw their baggage in a trash container.
Bethlehem:
Occupation forces suppressed Al-Ma'sara weekly peaceful march that condemns the apartheid expansion and annexation Wall. A number of citizens suffered from suffocation with tear gas, and Israeli soldiers attacked the participants and prevented them from reaching the site of the wall by attacking them by hands and firing tear gas canisters, causing the injury of a number of them with suffocation.
Nablus
A group of Itamar settlers attacked each of Aysar Hossam Bani Fadel and Fouad Bani Jami’ from A’qraba. That happened under the eyes of the occupation forces who detained their sheep.
Hebron
Occupation forces stormed the central market and a number of shops in Beit Ummar town, and began firing metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas causing the injury of four youths by metal bullets and others suffered from suffocation and fainting. A severe fire broke out near the gas station at the entrance to the town.
