Israeli Violations in the West Bank

JERUSALEM:
Israeli forces arrested Adel Al-Silwadi, 39 years, and wounded 9 other residents, after clashes took place between the Israeli soldiers and residents who protested in support of the striking prisoners, near the Aqsa Mosque compound, and soldiers fired tear gas and metal bullets at the youths.
Israeli soldiers raided the protest tent in Issawiya town, and demolished the protest tent. No injuries were reported.
JENIN:
Dozens of soldiers raided Al-Yamoun town and handed Imad Abu Al-Heja intelligence warrant to meet the Israeli intelligence for questioning.
Settlers raided Atouf area near Tamoun.
Clashes took place between the Israeli soldiers and residents near Ya’bad town, and soldiers fired tear gas and metal bullets at the youths. Soldiers arrested Waseem Abu Baker, 14 years and took him to unknown destination for questioning.
As many as 12 were arrested during confrontations that erupted with Israeli soldiers following nonviolent demonstrations in solidarity with the striking prisoners, near the Jalama military barrier.
RAMALLAH:
Israeli soldiers invaded areas in Betonia and conducted searches into houses, and occupied Al-Hizmawi residential building for military purposes.
As many as 24 protesters were injured and many others were treated for breathing problems near Ofer jail after Israeli forces used tear gas to disperse their march. Soldiers fired tear gas canisters at participants in a march organized in solidarity with prisoners.
Many demonstrators were tear gassed by Israeli Soldiers in the village of Nabi Saleh. Many protesters suffered from tear gas choking in the weekly march which was organized by the Popular Committee against the Wall and Settlements in the village. Dozens of Palestinian, international and Israeli peace activists participated in the demonstration, which led to the injury of 3 protesters, including the child Waseem Mohd Sarhan, 13 years.
Israeli army fired tear gas canisters in an effort to disperse the peaceful protest in Bilin, causing dozens others to suffer gas inhalation. Others were shot with rubber-coated bullets.
QALQILIA:
Dozens of Palestinian civilians organized a peaceful demonstration in Kufor Qaddoum village, in protest to the continued closure of the entrance of the village by Israeli forces. Israeli soldiers prevented the demonstrators from getting close to the entrance and attacked them, wounding the Israeli MK Mohammed Barakeh with tear gas canister.
NABLUS:
A Palestinian boy, identified as Naseem Bilal Ma’rouf from Balata camp, was injured when an Israeli military jeep ran him over. The citizen Mohd Riad Abdol Fattah Mizher, 14 years from Balata sustained bruises as he was beaten by Israeli soldiers.
Three children were arrested at the hands of Israeli soldiers when protesters took to the streets n support of the striking prisoners. Those arrested were identified as Karam Ajjouri, 16 years, Muntaser Abu Zeid, 16 years, and Bara’ Hashash, 15 years.
BETHLEHEM:
Dozens of Palestinian civilians organized a peaceful demonstration in Ma’sara village, in protest to the continued closure of the entrance of the village by Israeli forces. Israeli soldiers prevented the demonstrators from getting close to the entrance and attacked them.
HEBRON:
Occupation forces seized three trucks loaded with road construction materials, which were intended to be used in the Ber Al-I’ed Road in Jinba village located near Yatta.
Israeli soldiers attacked nonviolent protesters holding their weekly protest demanding the army to reopen the Shuhada’ Street in the old town. The road has been blockaded by the army since many years. The army attacked the protesters with gas bombs, concussion grenades and rubber-coated metal bullets in addition to attacking and beating several protesters and reporters.
A young Palestinian man was shot and injured by Israeli troops during clashes in Bab al-Zawiya neighborhood in Hebron. A Palestinian ambulance evacuated a 16-year-old boy to Hebron’s public hospital. The boy was hit by a live gunshot in his foot.
